2006 Hamilton-Puli Gift Exchange Program

In 2006, Mystic Trails assisted a gift exchange program between Hamilton International School in Seattle and Puli Tibetan School at Dechin county in Yunnan.  This project received the great support from teacher Patty Smith.

Before the trip, we went to Hamilton's classroom and gave the students a presentation about Puli School. Subsequently, Hamilton students did a fund-raising and donated warm clothes for the Tibetan children.

When we arrived at Puli, as the couriers of the gifts, we were received with a warm welcoming ceremony followed by dance performance.  Puli students sent Hamilton Schools their art works made by themselves.

With the donations sent by Hamilton students and teachers as well as Mystic Travelers, Puli School was able to purchase their first Ping-pong table and two white Yak costumes that will be used in the traditional Yak Dance.
